1. What services does The Collective Las Vegas provide?
We offer complete wedding and event services throughout Las Vegas Valley, including:

2. What areas do you serve?
We serve all of Las Vegas Valley, including Las Vegas, Henderson, Summerlin, North Las Vegas, Spring Valley, Paradise, and Boulder City. We're also happy to travel throughout Nevada and beyond for destination events. Travel fees may apply for locations outside our standard service area.
3. Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. Karen is a ordained and licensed wedding officiant in Nevada. We carry comprehensive liability insurance and can provide certificates of insurance to venues or organizations as needed.
4. How far in advance should we book?
For weddings: We recommend booking 6-12 months in advance, especially for peak wedding season (spring and fall). However, we've successfully coordinated weddings with just a few weeks' notice.
For corporate/private events: Book as early as possible, especially for large events or peak seasons (holidays, conference season). We can often accommodate shorter timelines—contact us to discuss.
5. Do you have a minimum guest count or event size?
No! We work with events of all sizes, from intimate 20-person gatherings to large celebrations with 300+ guests. Our services scale to match your needs.

2. Do you offer payment plans?
Yes! We offer flexible payment schedules. Typically:
- Deposit (25-50%) secures your date
- Second payment due 60 days before event
- Final payment 14 days before event.
We work with you to create a payment structure that fits your budget.
3. What's included in your pricing?
Everything outlined in your customized proposal and contract. We're completely transparent—no hidden fees. Travel within Las Vegas Valley is included; distant locations may have additional fees disclosed upfront.
4. Can we customize our package?
Absolutely! Our packages are designed as flexible starting points. During your consultation, we'll discuss your specific needs and create a customized proposal. You're never locked into a one-size-fits-all package.
5. Do you offer discounts for booking multiple services?
Yes! Couples who book combined services (officiating + DJ, planning + DJ, or complete packages) receive discounted rates. Ask about our package savings during your consultation.
WEDDING-SPECIFIC QUESTIONS
1. Can you officiate our wedding ceremony?
Yes! Karen is a licensed wedding officiant in Nevada and creates personalized ceremonies that reflect your unique love story. We offer everything from simple legal ceremonies to fully customized celebrations with personalized vows, readings, and cultural traditions.

2. Do you help with writing our vows?
Absolutely! Many couples need guidance with vow writing. Karen provides templates, examples, and personalized coaching to help you craft vows that feel authentic and meaningful.
3. Can you perform ceremonies for all religions and cultural backgrounds?
Yes. We respect and honor all faiths, cultures, and traditions. Karen has experience with interfaith ceremonies, cultural traditions, and secular celebrations. We work with you to create a ceremony that authentically represents your values and beliefs.
4. Do you require a rehearsal?
Rehearsals are recommended but not required. For larger wedding parties or complex ceremonies, we highly recommend a brief rehearsal to ensure everyone knows their role. We coordinate this with your venue and wedding party.
5. What if we just need day-of coordination?
We offer day-of coordination services! While many couples appreciate full planning support, we're happy to step in closer to your wedding date to manage vendor coordination, timeline execution, and day-of logistics.
DJ & ENTERTAINMENT QUESTIONS
1. Can we book just DJ services without other services?
Yes! While many couples love our complete service model, you're welcome to book DJ services as a standalone option. We're flexible and customize services to your needs.

2. What types of music do you provide?
DJ Benji Blue has an extensive music library across all genres and decades—from classic standards to current hits, jazz to hip-hop, country to EDM. We customize your playlist based on your preferences and guest demographics.
- For weddings: Romantic ceremony music, sophisticated cocktail hour, dinner background music, high-energy reception
- For corporate events: Professional background music, appropriate volume levels, genre customization
- For private parties: Completely customized to your style and energy preferences

3. Do you take song requests during events?
Yes! We're happy to take guest requests that align with your event's vibe and your preferences. During planning, you can provide must-play lists and do-not-play lists to guide song selection.
4. Do you provide equipment for speeches or presentations?
Yes! Our sound system includes wireless microphones perfect for toasts, speeches, and presentations. For corporate events requiring additional AV needs (projectors, screens, etc.), we can coordinate with trusted partners.
5. What happens if there's a technical issue?
We have backup equipment for every event—redundant sound systems, extra microphones, and additional cables. Benjamin's military background means preparation and contingency planning are built into every service. Technical issues are extremely rare, but we're always prepared.
PLANNING & COORDINATION QUESTIONS
1. What's the difference between full planning and day-of coordination?
- Full Planning: We're involved from the beginning—venue selection, vendor recommendations, budget management, design guidance, timeline creation, and complete coordination from engagement through wedding day.
- Partial Planning: We step in 2-4 months before your event to finalize details, coordinate vendors, create timelines, and manage day-of execution.
- Day-Of Coordination: We join 2-4 weeks before to review your plans, confirm vendor details, create day-of timeline, and manage all coordination on your event day.

2. Can you recommend vendors?
Yes! We have vetted partnerships with excellent vendors throughout Las Vegas Valley—photographers, videographers, florists, caterers, venues, and more. We provide recommendations based on your style, budget, and needs.

3. Will you work with vendors we've already booked?
Absolutely! We're experienced in coordinating with your existing vendor team. We seamlessly integrate into your plans while adding our expertise and coordination.
4. Do you handle vendor payments and contracts?
We can coordinate vendor communications and manage relationships, but we don't handle payments directly. You maintain control of all financial transactions with your vendors.
VENUE CURATION QUESTIONS
1. How does venue curation work?
- We learn about your vision, guest count, budget, and preferences, then recommend venues throughout Las Vegas Valley that match your criteria. We can arrange site visits, provide insider knowledge about each location, and support contract negotiations.

Venue curation can be included as part of comprehensive planning packages or booked as a standalone service. We'll discuss options during your consultation.

- For wedding planning clients: Venue recommendations are included as part of your planning services at no additional cost.

BOOKING & PROCESS QUESTIONS
1. How do we get started?
Schedule a complimentary consultation (in-person, phone, or video call) to discuss your event. We'll learn about your vision, answer questions, and create a customized proposal. If it feels like a good fit, we'll send a contract and invoice for your deposit.

Our policies vary based on how close to the event date changes occur. Everything is outlined clearly in your contract. We always work to accommodate genuine emergencies or necessary changes. Many couples opt for wedding insurance for additional protection.
3. How do we communicate leading up to our event?
You'll have direct access to Karen and Benjamin via email, phone, and scheduled consultations. We're responsive and typically reply within 24 hours. As your event approaches, communication naturally increases.
4. What happens if you're sick or unable to make our event?
We have backup plans and professional networks to ensure your event is never left without coverage. This scenario is extremely rare, but we're prepared with contingency plans outlined in your contract.
5. Do you attend our rehearsal?
For weddings where Karen is officiating, she attends and coordinates the rehearsal. For events where we're providing DJ or coordination services, rehearsal attendance will be included in comprehensive packages or arranged separately.
CORPORATE & PRIVATE EVENT QUESTIONS

Yes! We provide professional event coordination and DJ services for corporate events, including holiday parties, conferences, team building events, product launches, client appreciation events, and more.

1. Are you available for destination weddings outside Las Vegas?
